Adams, Laura
Laura is the Nature Based Solutions Practice Lead for Black & Veatch. Her expertise includes hydrology and hydraulic modeling, stream restoration, and watershed planning components. She has worked with interdisciplinary teams to develop successful stormwater and green infrastructure projects across the country. She has focused on alternate, performance-based delivery of green infrastructure: providing technical guidance to develop programs, forging innovative partnerships, and  leveraging construction expertise to inform design.  Laura co-chairs the Alternative Funding/Finance Subcommittee for WEF Stormwater and she holds ISI Envision Sustainability Professional accreditation.  In Kansas City, she volunteers with the Cultivate Kansas City Board of Directors to help build a sustainable local food system for the community.
