Alessandro is a PhD student at the University of Manitoba in Canada. Currently, he is involved in work related to moving bed biofilm reactor technology for potential carbon redirection. Before starting his PhD in Civil Engineering, Alessandro, had achieved a M.Sc. in the same institution in similar field such as anaerobic MBBR technology and aerobic granular sludge for industrial wastewater treatment. Previously, he had accomplished a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Environmental Biology at the University of Florence (Italy).
