Hunu, Kenneth

Ken Hunu is a technical and resource manager at Atkinsglobal. He specializes in water resources systems engineering, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, 2D hydrodynamic modeling including storm surge, wave and dam breach modeling, roadway drainage design, climate change resiliency analysis, and integrated water resources management. Ken's experience includes development of a decision support tool (DST) for adapting stormwater management for coastal floods for the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA), climate change resiliency assessments in sub-Saharan Africa for the World Bank and flood hazard assessments for over 10 nuclear power plants in the United States. Ken has a bachelor of Science degree is civil engineering,a Master of Arts degree in Climate and Society, a Mater of Science defree in water resource engineering, and he is currently completing his PhD is systems engineering.
