Mason, Melanie

Melanie Mason is a Principal Planner in the stormwater division at the City of Alexandria, VA. Her work focuses on the review of stormwater infrastructure for public and private development projects and the creation of policies to guide stormwater management through development in the City. She also manages the City's BMP inspection program, acts as the City's Virginia Stormwater Management Program Administrator and the Chesapeake Bay Act Coordinator. Melanie has worked in water resources for the past 15 years in North Carolina, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Melanie has a degree in Biology from Fayetteville State University.
