Peng, Jian
Dr. Peng is the North Orange County Monitoring Manager for the Orange County Environmental Resources, a service area of OC Public Works, County of Orange, California. He oversees the monitoring, data management, rainfall and streamgaging infrastructure for the North Orange County area. He also manages several total maximum daily load (TMDL) programa for Newport Bay watershed. He is active in stormwater and water resources fields and has been the co-chair for the Watershed Management and Impaired Waters Subcommittee of the California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA). Dr. Peng is a strong advocate of US-China environmental collaborations. James Fortuna is the North Orange County Stormwater Program Manager and he oversees the implementation of the MS4 permit implementation for the North Orange County and its 26 cities, with a population of 2.6 million. He is leading the effort on the Watershed Imporvement Projects Subcommittee on regional stormwater project planning and implementation. Daniel Apt is the president of the consulting firm Olaunu based in San Clemente, California. He is a consultant to the County and has worked with James and Jian on many projects. He was the past president and current board member of the California Stormwater Quality Association, or CASQA.
