Development of a New Open Basin High Purity Oxygen Module in the GPS-X™ Software for Wastewater Treatment Simulation
Abstract
We describe the development of a module for open-basin HPO aeration within the Hydromantis' GPS-X platform. The module provides accurate modeling of mass transfer, biological treatment, heat transfer, temperature and pH effects, and has been validated against open-basin HPO plant operating data. Development and testing of the model has been completed, and it has been incorporated in the current release of the GPS-X software.
