Abstract
A municipal rate study is more than just a financial assessment; if done properly it is a streamlined process of data collection between several departments within City Hall that determines policy, growth, and stability. Some municipalities, as a result of regional treatment agreements, are approaching rate studies from a more collaborative standpoint. This can be an opportunity for the community or region to develop a secure financial plan to meet their growth and development desires.
