Abstract
Mineql+ chemical equilibrium modeling software was used to analyze treatment processes at Dallas Water Utilities wastewater plants for vivianite precipitation potential. Using this software we were able to confirm where vivianite was currently precipitating and determine where it would precipitate based on the proposed changes to the plant's operations and chemical addition.Mineql+ can be used by operations for targeted vivianite precipitation instead of vivinite scaling in unwanted/inaccessible locations.
