The City of Santa Monica is an oceanfront community located in Southern California (USA). It is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Bay, on the north by Malibu, and on the east and the south by the City of Los Angeles. The City has a resident population of approximately 90,000 people and a daytime business employment population exceeding 100,000. In addition, summer tourism further increases the City's population.
