Experience of Operating Large Baff Plants in the North West of England
Abstract
Increasing pressure for small footprint processes which can achieve increasingly stringent permit standards has led to the widespread use of BAFF plants in certain regions of the UK. The process has been used at a variety of locations, under different operating conditions and with varying degrees of success. The difference in performance between secondary and tertiary applications has been significant and a great deal of knowledge has been gained on optimising performance.
