Abstract
Babil Province in Iraq is home to some of the earliest recorded civilizations on earth, yet currently there are approximately three quarters of a million (750,000) people living in urban centers with only 37,000 people connected to public sewer. It was the responsibility of The Louis Berger Group Inc. (Berger) to research, analyze, evaluate, and make planning recommendations for the local officials to design, construct, operate and maintain sewer facilities throughout the province.
