Young, James
James Young Ph.D., P.E., BCEE received his BS in civil engineering and his MS in environmental engineering from New Mexico State University; and his PhD in environmental engineering from Stanford University. He was professor and researcher for 41 years and recently retired from the University of Arkansas, where he taught courses in industrial wastewater treatment and conducted research on biological treatment processes. He has served as a consultant on projects involving industrial wastewater treatment and has published numerous papers on this topic in journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Young is the 2015 recipient of the W.W. Eckenfelder Industrial Water Quality Lifetime Achievement Award from the Water Environment Federation
