Peene, Steven

Dr. Peene specializes in coastal hydrodynamic and wave modeling with a focus on resiliency and complex assessments of climate threats and vulnerabilities. He has extensive experience in sea level rise-coastal modeling and assessment of coastal impacts. During the last 27 years with ATM (now a Geosyntec Company), Dr. Peene's role and responsibilities have evolved from that of a project scientist to senior principal/team lead of the water resources and resiliency practice areas. Dr. Peene possesses PhD and MS degrees in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.
