Axtell, Kyle
Over a nearly 20-year natural resources management career spent largely with watershed districts in Minnesota's Twin Cities metro area, Kyle has served as a stormwater leader by developing and coordinating implementation of a diverse number of water resource protection projects including raingardens, iron-enhanced sand filters, stormwater reuse systems, alum treatment systems, flood retention basins and outlet control structures. Currently, Kyle is leading South Washington Watershed District's planning and implementation of urban stormwater BMP projects that advance District initiatives in the areas of water quality, flooding, climate resilience, and resource protection. His personal connection to -- and respect for -- the creative community in Minnesota has also informed SWWD's recent forays into the inclusion of art in its programs and capital projects.
