Bumkyu Kim (B.K.) is a Ph.D. candidate in environmental engineering interested in biofilms and protozoa. His dissertation examines effects of predation on biofilms. Before commencing his graduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, B.K. worked at the University of Waterloo as a research assistant. Also, he did an internship at CH2M Hill at Kitchener office, where he worked for the first ANNAMOX plant in the City of Guelph.
