Reifsnyder, Sam
Sam Reifsnyder is a water and wastewater process engineer with focus on water and wastewater treatment dynamics. Sam received his PhD degree at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of California Irvine. Under the umbrella of the WEX-CENTER, is doctorate research focused on dynamic modeling of both industrial and municipal water resource recovery facilities. As part of his research, Sam has coordinated several research projects in collaboration with sensors' manufacturers, consulting firms and utility managers. His most recent research focuses on dynamic load shifting strategies between hydrolically connected wastewater treatment plants for the abatement of power demand, energy use, greenhouse gas emissions and operating costs.
