Yilma, Eyasu
Eyasu Yilma is a professional engineer with 25 years of successful career experience. He is registered engineer in Washington, D.C. and currently works as the Manager for Potomac Interceptor at DC Water. Previously, he worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the European Union and the German International Cooperation Agencies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia and a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management from the University of Leuphana in Germany. He is the author of several documents, including Potomac Interceptor Renewal, Long Term Corrosion Prevention Program, Multi-Jurisdictional Use Facilities Cost Share, and Cost effective water utility design standards.
