Renewable Water Resources Asset Management Program Development and Journey
Abstract
Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) has embarked on an asset management journey to support the wastewater utility’s mission statement “Enhancing our community’s quality of life by transforming wastewater into renewable resources through responsible and innovative solutions.” With this mission ReWa has been tackling asset management across the organization, from horizontal pipe assets to the vertical assets at the Wastewater Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRFs) and pump stations and even fleet assets. The latest leg of this journey has focused on vertical assets and fleet assets. The journey is not complete, but each stop means improvement and progress.
