Abstract
MSD has devoted a significant amount of time and resources over the years to developing hydraulic models of its Sanitary and Combined sewer systems to aid in planning and capital improvement design. These models been used to develop a rehabilitation plan, and will continue to play an important role in tracking removals, determining the effectiveness of planned projects, and providing governing bodies with area-by-area reduction percentages throughout the project.
