Abstract
The Utility Management Institute (UMI) provides instruction to eligible participants on a variety of important issues and topics facing water and wastewater utilities. The format of the program is interactive and case study driven, with participants sharing in the exchange of ideas, concepts and procedures, as facilitated by a faculty of consultants and utility professionals. The objective of the UMI Program is to provide training and tools to utility professionals located along the U.S.- Mexican border to enable them to operate their utilities in a businesslike manner.
