CONSENT DECREE: SUCCESSFULLY MANAGING THE COMPLIANCE PROCESS

Abstract

Successful implementation of and compliance with a regulatory enforcement action such as a consent decree can be a daunting effort. Depending on the complexity of the requirements, managing the compliance process can become much more than a simple monitoring and reporting system.This paper describes the components of the consent decree in New Orleans, Louisiana, along with the tools, processes, education and contribution of stakeholders required to successfully fulfill the obligations of the consent decree.
