Abstract
Communicating with a disgruntled or hostile public is not for the faint of heart. However, even this challenging situation can be an occasion on which you win friends for your utility. The key is to commit to a new approach to communication. I have taught communications at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina for 25 years and I am excited about this new approach to speaking.
