Dr. Alimoradi is an environmental engineer who studies wastewater treatment, water reuse, and nutrient recovery from wastes. The overarching goal of his research is to design and operate a wastewater treatment plant which save the environment from receiving pollution and also to provide nutrient recovery from sludge and other waste source to create a sustainable way of fertilizer production. He received his bachelor in Chemical engineering from polytechnic of Tehran, his master from the University of Tehran, and his PhD from the University of Kansas.
