Jacob Metch is a wastewater process engineer with HDR. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and his PhD in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. He has extensive research experience using cutting-edge analytical techniques to study contaminants of emerging concern, activated sludge microbial communities, pathogen removal in wastewater treatment, and evaluating emerging wastewater technologies. His current work focuses primarily on wastewater facility planning, emerging technology evaluation, and wastewater process modeling.
