The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals highlight different yet highly interconnected issues for achieving a sustainable and better life for all. Nowhere is this connection felt stronger than in the Kyangwali refugee camp in Uganda. The author Johan Jensen of the Danish startup SolarSack illustrates the interconnections between improved water access and many SDGs such as gender equality, health, education, environment, and economic opportunities.
