Rock Creek Public Sewer District Private Lateral Inspection Program Abstract Purpose: Rock Creek Public Sewer District has passed an ordinance that requires an inspection for privately owned laterals and sump pumps to eliminate Inflow and Infiltration of groundwater and surface water into the sanitary sewer system of Rock Creek Public Sewer District. This presentation will discuss the different definitions of the ordinance, including, but not limited to, certification of sewer lateral, defective lateral, grinder pump system, ground water, lateral, lien, notice of violation, sanitary sewer system, sump pump, and wyes. The presentation will examine Rock Creek's current plan on the public side of correcting Inflow and Infiltration through the use of Cured in Place Pipe. The material will focus on the amount of Inflow and Infiltration that is eliminated through the private lateral inspection program.
