South Australia Water Corporation’s Pro-active Corrosion and Odour Management Strategy Development
Abstract
This paper describes a process for the selection of sewer corrosion and odour control measures for South Australia Water Corporation (SA Water). SA Water engaged CH2M and the Advanced Water Management Centre (AWMC) to apply the knowledge, tools and practices developed as part of the Sewer Corrosion & Odour Research (SCORe) project to support strategic decisions for cost-effective odour and corrosion management of five catchments in the Adelaide Metro area. This paper provides details of the development of the sewer odour and corrosion management strategy for the Ethelton catchment.
