Abstract
The Marquette-lez-Lille WWTP with a treatment capacity of 650000 PE is a new plant where construction started in 2010 and was achieve in 2013. The sludge treatment installed in this plant is particularly original it’s composed by a first Mesophilic Anaerobic Digestion (MAD) followed by a continuous thermal hydrolysis and then followed by another MAD. The digested sludge is dried with a belt dryer to be used in agriculture. In this paper we will present the results of one year operation of the DLD, with a complete mass balance for the Biogas production, VS removal, sludge reduction and energy production capacity.
