Outside Funding: Understanding the New Realities

This paper provides an update on available agency and legislative funding programs that are expected to fund major water related infrastructure projects. The paper also provides insights into what future capital funding scenarios are being planned by funding agencies together with state and federal legislatures.With significant changes occurring at the state and federal levels, current information will be provided to help guide communities through this changing funding landscape and provide them with up to date information to help fund their projects. This information is being provided from the experience gained through work with past funded projects. It shows how, when and why capital funding can still be acquired by those who adapt to the new realities.
