Full Scale Operating Results from New LP / HO Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems and Implications on Design
Abstract
The rapid pace in the development of new UV disinfection equipment has provided a myriad of new technologies for UV disinfection. However, with the development of new technologies has come the need for the evolution of the standard design parameters for new systems. The new systems provide a promising future for UV disinfection with improved energy efficiency, reduced downtime for maintenance, and longer operating life, all in more compact reactor designs.
