Web Based GIS Integration with Sewer TV Inspection Data
Abstract
This project integrated the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (CCCSD) recent digital sewer closed circuit television inspection program data with the existing web based geographic information system (GIS). This allowed staff to use the standard GIS interface to access the sewer TV inspection data through a common interface. Pipe segments are graphically selected from the GIS maps, and inspection results are then reviewed at a personal computer workstation. Together the two systems enhance the ability of Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance staff to manage CCCSD's collection system assets.
