This paper presents an introduction to Alliance Contracting and provides a general overview of the commercial principles associated with this type of project delivery. It describes a project structure that embraces the alliance contracting principles and gives an example of how it was applied to the 2.4 Billion Western Corridor Recycled Water project for the Queensland Government in Australia.
