Electrolytic Hydrogen Generation from Pharmaceutical Laden Wastewater
Abstract
Novel electrolytic reactor is used for the production of hydrogen from contaminated water the cathode used is Ti/TiO2-RuO2 which are known for their stability. Very low current density compared to conventional electrolysers is used. Rate of hydrogen production at various current densities is compared. Finally energy consumption of present electolysers is compared to industrial electrolysers.
