Abstract
Delivering a successful large multi-phase capital project with significant process automation and SCADA integration through startup and commissioning is a challenge. Above all, operator engagement is essential for success. This presentation focuses on systemic approaches used to engage operators from the inception of the project design, through construction and commissioning for The Metropolitan District’s 200mgd Wet Weather Expansion at the Hartford, Connecticut Water Pollution Control Facility.
