The number of RNG projects being developed across the country is increasing due to the higher value of RNG, merging end markets to sell into, and reduced capital costs driven by direct pay tax credits found in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This fact sheet shows how RNG offers utilities a unique opportunity to transform a waste stream into a revenue stream that also produces environmental benefits.
