Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS): A Blueprint for Utility Managers–Strategies for the Next Five Years
This Blueprint represents a moment in the evolution of the PFAS story, noting that this is an iterative process in tracking PFAS. This publication targets a specific audience and purpose: utilities navigating options for addressing PFAS. Because PFAS continues to be a moving target, it adds a level of complexity in offering the latest detail. This publication offers a good historical snapshot of the considerations utilities need to make when preparing their strategies. It's important for receivers of these compounds to be informed about PFAS and to be able to effectively communicate to their customers. This Blueprint document presents best practices and resources for receivers trying to navigate PFAS issues in their communities.
