Building a Framework for Potable Reuse Operator Training and Certification in California
Abstract
Accelerated development of potable reuse projects is tempered by the commitment to ensure protection of public health. Successful training and certification of operators is a critical element of maintaining high quality reuse supplies. This paper summarizes the collaborative approach led by the California Urban Water Agencies to engage key stakeholders statewide in order to achieve consensus within the industry on a framework for standardized potable reuse operator training and certification.
