Leveraging Hydrologic and Hydraulic Model for Strategic Combined Sewer Planning
Abstract
A dynamic hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) model of a large urban wastewater collection system is being used to support important strategic and operational decisions as part of an ongoing capital improvement program. The modeling results were presented to a large and diverse group of stakeholders, in ways that were easy to understand even for the stakeholders who did not have a technical background in hydrology and hydraulics.
