Find and Fix Rehabilitation Program Producing I/I Reduction Successes for City of Suffolk, VA
Abstract
The City of Suffolk (City) implemented a Find and Fix Program approach to locate and repair sewer system defects in compliance with a Consent Order program. After the City obtained flow monitoring data documenting the post Find and Fix system performance during wet weather event, they developed a unique tool to evaluate post rehabilitation performance and the infiltration/inflow (I/I) rehabilitation reduction results. The purpose of the paper is explain the Find and Fix program, describe the post rehabilitation evaluation tool, and discuss the results of the post rehabilitation evaluation tool.
