Fortunately, the massive agreement provided a way to switch the name of the principal-in-charge of the project. In an even greater stroke of luck, the NCF that had been held at bay by the now belly-up international firm had the wherewithal to take over the project, including the financing.

The key to this project’s success was the identification of the team early in the process as well as the development of a comprehensive agreement to cover as many things as possible. Unfortunately, the inclusion of an international company led to a twofold hit to the project related to financial solvency and lack of transparency in project implementation processes.
