About Pleau, Martin

 
Martin Pleau holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering with a specialization in process control. With a wealth of experience, Mr. Pleau is Tetra Tech’s technical expert for software development and all major projects involving the optimization of wastewater and stormwater networks,. Through close collaboration with clients and the Tetra Tech team, Mr. Pleau pioneered the development of Csoft®, a sophisticated software package that controls wastewater and stormwater networks in real time.  This innovative technology is now in application in several cities in North America and Europe for both pollution and flood control. From 2011 to 2014 he was the president of the Urban Drainage RTC Work Group of the Joint Committee of the IWA/IAHR. In 2019, he won with is team et the Louisville Metropolitain Sewer District de Franz Edelman Award  which recognize and reward outstanding examples of operations research, management science, and advanced analytics in practice in the world.
